With this representation of an Indian Chief, his recent work on paper titled Electric Ocean depicts such a signature motif.
Over the last several decades, Wes Lang has been honing his craft involving, amongst other things, a tireless, obsessive mining of the post-Pop American landscape. Born in Chatham, New Jersey in 1972, many of the artist's influences spring from distinctive autobiographical experiences of indigenous cultures as well as other emblems of the American West.
